Приєднався 24 кві 2017
The first jazzconcert recorded and broadcast by AVRO radio was Duke Ellington as far back as 1933. The Jazz At The Philharmonic concerts, organized by Norman Granz, came to Holland’s concert halls in 1952 and were regularly broadcast by AVRO Television since 1958. They featured jazz giants like Lionel Hampton, Duke Ellington, Ella Fitzgerald and Oscar Peterson.
The JATP concerts, the Newport Jazz Festivals and the North Sea Jazz Festivals recorded and broadcast by AVRO TV are featured on this World of Jazz Channel, as well as various TROS TV recordings such as TROS Sesjun.
AVROTROS is a Dutch radio and television broadcaster, founded in 2014 from a merger of AVRO and TROS. From January 1st, 2014 the name of the merged broadcaster was used in joint programmes. AVRO was founded in 1923 as the Netherlands first public broadcaster.

James Brown - REMASTERED - It's A Man's Man's Man's World - 11/07/1981 • World of Jazz
"It's a Man's Man's Man's World" is a song by James Brown and Betty Jean Newsome. Brown recorded it on February 16, 1966 in a New York City studio and released it as a single later that year. It reached No. 1 on the Billboard R&B chart and No. 8 on the Billboard Hot 100. Its title is a word play on the 1963 comedy film It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World.
This is the exiting live version of this song as performed by James Brown and the JBs at the second performance at the North Sea Jazz Festival on 11 July 1981, held in the Congress center in The Hague.
This second concert is extraordinary and sees a James Brown that really gives everything to get the audience to their feet. The first concert that we published on 5 October 2017 which was recorded by AVRO Television earlier that 11th July 1981 saw a lame audience that did not know how to react. In this fantastic video we see what James Brown could do with any audience. Also this concert has a different tracklisting including a sensational 'It's A Man's World' in which he pays tribute to great artists who died such as Otis Redding, Sam Cooke, Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix and especially to John Lennon, who died some 6 months earlier.
The concert's encore is a raving rendition of 'Sex Machine'.
Enjoy!

2030..! Who is still here?
34:40 I WANT YOUR LOVE suxxx heavily in comparison to the original,,originally,, a far cry !!! ( by Eric Dolp...hin ).
Can't stop commenting on how good this is. 20 minutes into it and only was familiar with opening RTF tune. The music is just extraordinary and the keyboardist and guitarist (both of whom I"ve never heard of) are both fantastic musicians with both soul and technique. Gonna share this with friends.
What beautiful chord changes!! 8:10
Wow look at you Simon Phillips. Looks like a kid.
The music was much much better back when the COKE was pure 🔥
Mastery from all involved,!!!
I’m amazed at the quality of this recording, some 40+ yrs ago, Superb. The music is so great, the quartet is the best!!
The version with povorotti is awesome
I actually prefer this guy's pocket to Dennis Chambers- it's more behind- and I've never heard of him!!
A full Duke concert showcasing the band in full flight. Again I ask why are the best archival full performances from European television? Not just jazz but also pop, rock, blues.
Great. From a direct camera. Not the radio broadcast mix
охуенный лайв!
Two incomparable geniuses: Sarah & Billy. The "word-smithing" in his lyric is stunning: "relaxes on the axis".....and Billy at all of 16, a love sick, black homosexual, burning with talent. And Sarah doesn't just "sing" Billy's song: she inhabits his mind, his feelings, his despair. Was there ever such a delivery!
He made us a report of the underside of this perverse tone ,but we are deaf and blind to perceive the truth when it is revealed to us

That spin was fire
Great performance! However. The footage you have is already in pristine condition. The AI upscales you have been posting are unnecessary. A regular upscale to HD would do just fine. Uploading the footage in 50fps is fine as well as the 50i footage allows for an easy 50p conversion. I hope you’re not using AI for the 50p conversion as well as the picture upscale, as that can be done *better* without AI. So, please no AI ”enchancements” either for upscaling to HD or upping the frame rate.
It's horrible what you did here. I'm here to tell that you better remove this video. Using AI into such a great artist's video in which the videos are in a fine quality already is not a proper thing. The whole video seems strange (the quality) I meant.
Sorry you don't like it. Feel free to enjoy the original version, also on this account!

JB was on fire including his band. I think it’s two nights at Northsea ‘81 jazz festival. I’d love to see a “remastered“ complete concert of all of his Northsea performances for us all to enjoy! Thank you!
He did two shows on one night
@@josephellis6697 There you go! Thank you! TWO Shows! I forget, but I'll never forget JBs performances here! Utterly amazing! ANd the audiences were great too! Totally in unison with JB and band, as and ON the ONE!
